Receptionist Allowance Offer
Version: inbound-allowance-2026-10-21-v2 Status: Published
Capstra Labs, LLC offers the following paid, month-to-month Vocapable Receptionist plans for one legal business. This offer applies only when the customer explicitly selects it and the exact version and contents are bound into the accepted order. It does not change a previously accepted subscription, managed-number offer, outbound subscription, commitment or signed rate card. The Master Services Agreement and applicable elected terms continue to apply.
Plans and included AI
All prices are in US dollars before applicable taxes. “Managed” means supported Vocapable-managed phone service. “BYO” means the business connects its own Twilio account and numbers and pays that account’s carrier and number charges directly.
| Tier | Managed monthly subscription | BYO monthly subscription | Included AI minutes per paid subscription period | Managed additional AI minute | BYO additional AI minute | Shared simultaneous AI ceiling |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49 | $39 | 250 | $0.09 | $0.05 | 2 |
| Business | $139 | $109 | 1,000 | $0.09 | $0.05 | 3 |
| Scale | $269 | $219 | 2,000 | $0.09 | $0.05 | 5 |
The AI usage component is $0.05 per minute for speech recognition, speech generation and orchestration. Managed additional usage retains the existing $0.04 per minute bundled carrier and media-streaming component, making the managed total $0.09 per additional AI minute. BYO additional AI usage is $0.05 per minute; the customer separately pays their own Twilio charges. Included minutes, base fees, number prices, non-AI carrier tariffs and carrier markups are unchanged. These new rates do not replace any previously accepted offer.
Managed subscriptions include one supported standard US local business number while the subscribed business is active, paid and current. Each additional supported standard local number is $3/month. BYO subscriptions include no managed number rental. Numbers and additional agents do not increase the AI allowance or simultaneous AI ceiling. A new BYO plan cannot purchase a managed number under these prices without a separately supported, explicitly accepted change to its phone arrangement.
These are standalone inbound Receptionist plans. Engage, Workforce and Sales subscriptions, and any Receptionist attached to those outbound plans, retain their expressly accepted terms. The outbound three-year and volume-discount ladders do not apply to these new Receptionist tiers. There is no free trial or unlimited free production calling under this offer. Payment confirms the selected subscription; it does not reserve a specific phone number or dedicated hardware.
AI measurement and subscription periods
Only confirmed paid subscription periods grant an included AI allowance. The allowance belongs to the subscribed company and is pooled across that company’s covered agents and numbers. Other companies under the same login have separate subscriptions and allowances. The billing provider’s confirmed subscription anniversary defines each period’s start and end; this is not a calendar-month allowance. Unused allowance does not roll over, create cash credit, or produce a refund.
Actual AI segments belonging to the same original incoming parent call are combined before applying one 30-second minimum. A call with positive AI time is billed for at least 30 seconds and then per second. The minimum is not applied again for each agent segment, reconnection or return to AI on that same call. A call with no AI time creates no AI usage. AI time includes listening, silence and tool waits while the AI session is active, not only words spoken. Billable seconds first consume the company’s available included allowance; only seconds beyond it use the selected plan’s additional AI rate.
An in-progress call and its reserved usage remain attributable to their original admission period. A renewal, retry or delayed callback does not reset that call’s metering or charge its same usage twice. Reservations for active calls can temporarily reduce available allowance before their final usage is reconciled.
Managed incoming service and connected transfers
Managed AI prices include supported local incoming carrier service and media streaming during actual physical AI intervals. There is no second managed incoming carrier charge on those same physical AI seconds. The 30-second AI billing minimum does not invent physical AI intervals or remove real waiting, human conversation, voicemail or other non-AI carrier usage from a call.
Managed non-AI incoming time is $0.025 per started minute. All physical non-AI incoming intervals on the same parent call are combined before rounding to started minutes. These intervals include configured keypress menus, closed-hours messages, waiting, hold, transfer ringing, human conversation and consented voicemail while the incoming connection remains active. A standard prerecorded closed-hours or fallback workflow creates no conversational AI usage; its incoming carrier time still applies.
Each connected eligible standard US outgoing transfer leg is an additional $0.03 per started minute, rounded independently. Unanswered outgoing ringing does not create connected outgoing minutes; the original incoming connection can still have billable non-AI time. A three-minute human transfer after two physical AI minutes uses two AI allowance minutes and adds $0.075 incoming plus $0.09 outgoing, or $0.165 before invoice rounding. If Business managed has no included allowance left, those two AI minutes add $0.18, for $0.345 extra usage before invoice rounding.
Vocapable does not charge these managed number, incoming or transfer tariffs for BYO numbers. BYO customers pay their own Twilio supplier charges in addition to their Vocapable subscription and any AI overage.
Supported numbers and destinations
Managed service under this offer is limited to supported standard US local numbers and eligible standard US transfer destinations with verified supplier pricing. A standard included or extra local number must have an authenticated supplier rental price of no more than $1.50/month. Exact inventory and eligibility are confirmed during number selection and provisioning, not guaranteed by the subscription payment alone. Replacing a number cannot create two simultaneously included supplier rentals.
Premium numbers, toll-free service, Alaska or other unpriced transfer destinations, international destinations, conferences, MMS, full-call recording and optional SMS are not included or available under this self-service offer. No text-message allowance is included. Any future service outside this scope requires its own supported quote and explicit acceptance before activation. This offer does not promise self-service porting, permanent number ownership or recovery of a number released by its carrier.
Funding, limits and finite capacity
The first included managed number is funded by the verified paid subscription, not a second rental charge against the customer’s prepaid wallet. Extra $3 number rentals require settled prepaid credit for their disclosed rental periods. AI overage also requires settled prepaid credit. Eligible managed non-AI incoming and connected transfer usage can follow the separately accepted carrier invoicing arrangement, subject to its funded controls.
AI wallet controls and carrier invoice component limits are separate. A cap on one does not authorize spending on the other, combine them into a single cap, grant unpaid service, or waive already incurred amounts. Displayed limits are not unlimited supplier credit. Charges and rounding are recorded against their actual billing components; sub-cent examples above are unrounded and applicable invoice rounding and taxes are separate.
The 2, 3 and 5 limits are maximum simultaneous AI conversations for the company on shared platform capacity. They are not dedicated GPU reservations or a guarantee that AI capacity is always available. When AI is unavailable, busy or not funded, calls follow the company’s configured bounded prerecorded answering, waiting, transfer or voicemail workflow when that workflow is eligible and funded. This fallback does not expand AI entitlement or promise unlimited incoming calls, wait time or carrier spending.
Every accepted call has a finite original deadline and funding envelope. Retries, transfers, restarts and callbacks cannot extend that envelope. Provider usage evidence may arrive later and is retained for reconciliation. Existing connected calls complete only within their original limits. A failed or reversed payment can stop new AI admissions, provisioning or renewals; fallback carrier activity still requires its applicable funding and operational limits.
Renewal, changes and cancellation
Tier changes offered under these new standalone plans require an explicit review and confirmation of the exact replacement plan, prices, allowance, limits and effective provider-confirmed renewal. This release offers changes only at that renewal and within the same managed or BYO phone arrangement. It does not promise an immediate phone-arrangement switch, migration of a legacy managed rental, mid-period allowance reset, automatic proration, refund or cash credit for unused allowance. These renewal rules control tier-change timing under this offer, including where an accompanying number document describes possible upgrade adjustments.
Existing accepted legacy subscriptions remain binding until a separately supported and explicitly accepted change takes effect. Merely opening a pricing page or renewing unchanged legacy service does not migrate those terms. Cancellation follows the applicable accepted paid-term boundary. Subscription cancellation and number release are separate actions; release is complete only when the carrier confirms it, and unresolved supplier costs remain accounted for. A released number is not guaranteed to be recoverable.
